So you think you’ve tried every way imaginable to get the best possible skin? Think again.
Instead of running to the drugstore, go check your kitchen and medicine cabinet—youprobably already have these 4 skin-clearing home remedies on hand.

Aspirin and Honey
A combination of aspirin and honey can instantly reduce the effects of acne and helpremove the redness that comes from skin irritation. Aspirin reduces swelling and rednesscaused by acne, while honey is an antibiotic that can disinfect your pores (which causedthe acne in the first place).

Try it at home: Clean your skin thoroughly with toner to open your pores. In a separatebowl, crush a single aspirin and then add a very small amount of toner to create a thickpaste. Apply the paste directly to the acne spots and let it sit for five minutes. When fiveminutes are up, wash off the paste and then apply a small dab of honey to the blemishes.Wash the honey off after 10 minutes, and your skin will be clearer.

Toothpaste
Hopefully, you already use toothpaste to keep your teeth clean and healthy, but what youmay not know is that white toothpaste can also reduce acne, remove bug bites, and help toeliminate the effects of itchy skin rashes.

Try it at home: Apply white toothpaste (not gel) directly to your bug bites or acne, allow itto dry and then go to sleep. In the morning, wash off the toothpaste.

Lemon and Sugar
Lemons are a natural antiseptic, making them excellent for removing dirt and bacteria frompores. This helps make skin less oily, which over time can get rid of acne. Sugar acts asan exfoliant and opens up pores so the lemons can penetrate the skin.

Try it at home: Cut a lemon in half, sprinkle sugar on one of the exposed halves and thenapply that to your face each night to remove dead skin. This will get rid of blackheads andacne while making skin look more radiant.

Sea Salt
Like lemon, sea salt is a natural antiseptic, which explains why many people find their skinclears up after being at the beach. You don’t need to spend an afternoon splashing in theocean to reap the benefits of saltwater—you can do so at home by applying a mixture ofsea salt and water directly to your skin to reduce acne, age spots, and wrinkles.

Try it at home: Add one tablespoon of sea salt to a 16-ounce spray bottle of warm water.Spray the combination onto a small applicator—such as a washcloth—and then let the saltdo its work.
What are you waiting for? Go raid your medicine cabinet and your kitchen and get to workon your skin.
